The Marquèze ecomuseum is located near Sabres, 30 minutes from your Landes Bleues campsite.

To get to the ecomuseum from Sabres, opt for the train, the wagons are classified as Historic Monuments.
This village has been entirely reconstituted thanks to the transfer of buildings. The houses and other buildings have been rebuilt on the space dedicated to the ecomuseum. A collection of furniture allows you to evolve while being surrounded by objects that belonged to people of that time. These places have a soul and are steeped in history.
You will be able to admire their places of life and work, identical to those in which the shepherd-farmers evolved.

The Marquèze eco-museum is an exciting place to visit. The doors are open to visitors from June 10 to November 1.
The opening hours and train journeys (from Sabers or on the way back from the ecomuseum) vary according to the period, prepare your visit with the detailed timetables.
Our advice: plan at least half a day to visit as many places as possible.
Depending on the season, you can also taste good Landes dishes at the “Table de Marquèze”. The restaurant of the ecomuseum offers you delicious recipes with seasonal products.
The Estanquet refreshment bar allows you to enjoy a simple snack. A cold plate based on typical Landes products is offered. It is also the ideal place to refresh yourself and test old games.
The bread oven which is one of the places to visit also offers its specialties. Between the breads, brioches and other delicacies, you won't know what to choose... Don't miss a beat, taste as many things as possible!
A picnic area is available for visitors. You can therefore bring your packed lunch and enjoy it directly on site.
